You may notice a constant sense of pressure or unease running underneath ordinary moments.You might catch thoughts like:

"Why do I keep reacting like this when I know it’s not who I want to be?”
“Is this just stress? Hormones? Or is it something else?”
You may have already tried to manage this through meditation, exercise, journaling, therapy, medication, endless supplements and adaptogens, or lifestyle changes.
But you still find yourself back here ...
Your mind keeps scanning, planning, or replaying when you finally lay down at night.
Your kids asking one more question feels physically overwhelming.
You fantasize about disappearing for a week ... or more.
You feel emotionally flat even around people you love.
Rest doesn't fully resore you.
Joy feels out of reach.Over time this can start to feel "normal" or "just how things are."But underneath there is often a deep longing for something different and an exhaustion from living in survial mode.
Thinking your way out doesn't fully work because the nervous system doesn't change through thought alone.The body needs space to unwind, release, and reorganize from the inside out.
Somatic practice supports your body, breath, and brain to release stored tension and trauma and access a deeper level of insight that offers a new way of being in your body, in your relationships, and in the world.

Shifts that are possible (not promised) with this work
Nothing is promised when we work with our inner landscape.
Somatic practice is largely exploratory, invitational, relational, and evolving.
It's about creating a relationship with our body, its energy, and the spiritual supports available to us.
This work may support shifts such as:
Letting the body release what it has been carrying from the past: You may notice your chest, jaw, or stomach feeling softer instead of constantly tight; old reactions don’t feel as immediate or as consuming as they used to; you feel less “haunted” by past experiences in your day-to-day life.
Staying resourced and grounded: You may notice pausing before reacting instead of instantly snapping; being able to stay present when your child is melting down; recovering more quickly after stressful moments instead of staying “stuck” in them.
Moving through life with confidence and clarity: You may notice recognising your limits before you hit burnout or rage; knowing when you need rest, space, or support without second-guessing yourself; feeling clearer about what is “yours” vs what you’re carrying for others.
Reclaiming play, joy, and delight: You may notice laughing more easily with your children instead of just managing them; reconnecting with parts of yourself that are not just mother/worker/responsible one; experiencing brief but real moments of lightness in your day.
Opening to intuition, love, and spirit: You may notice feeling more emotionally present with your partner or children; you may begin to feel guided by something quieter inside you rather than only urgency, fear, or pressure.

About Angela
Trauma-Informed Somatic Practitioner • Holistic Lifestyle Coach • Energy Worker
I’m a single mother, and my path to this work has been anything but linear.Over the years, I’ve been a fitness and nutrition coach, Reiki practitioner, Sacred Circle facilitator, copywriter, climate activist, sales coordinator, waitress, bartender, community garden coordinator, and university graduate twice over. I’ve lived through anxiety, panic, depression, and substance use, travelled to more than 20 countries, and spent 8 years living abroad in the Netherlands.None of those roles or experiences fully explain why this work feels like part of my life’s calling.What matters most is what I came to understand through them.That beneath trauma, stress, coping patterns, and disconnection, the body holds an innate capacity for healing,attunement, connection, and aliveness.Today, I focus on helping others, especially mothers and women, to connect to their bodies in ways that feel safe, grounded, and move toward open-hearted, aliveness.
